THE PROCESS OF CORRUPTION

The first thing I think in the morning “Where am I?? Am I still in Kashmir? Am I still in Kashmir? No No No”. I just wish I was in a place where justice prevails where life is honest and where people are fair. But no I am still here where money matters, where newspapers are filled with scams, where corruption starts from orderly and ends at infinity. They say sometimes surrounding inspires but here I feel all I get from the surrounding is the process of respiration rest all it despairs me.
Be a life of student giving all exams preparing and trying the level best all we get is the negation as we don’t have the money to satisfy the hunger of the people giving the jobs. Sometimes either they make paper such that it couldn’t be even solved by the one who set it or results gets wiped off just like dew drops on leaf .I sometimes guess examiners set the papers on the pretext of a humour to make a laugh on the preparation of students. He is modern Mogambo grabbing money from rich giving them jobs and laughing at the hard workers crying on their fate. “ye hae Kashmir meri jaan”.
Recently the scam hit and we came to know the Mushtaq Peer of CET scam, but what about Mushtaq Peer of PDD, Mushtaq~ peer of Government offices and banks, Mushtaq peer of the government. Kashmir is itself a big Mushtaq Peer. It is not the young generation that degenerate; they are not spoiled till those of mature age are already sunk in corruption. Sometimes we remember the Sholay scene “Pachas pachas kos door jab bacha rota hai to maa kehti hai, beta soja..nahi to Gabbar aa jaega , here now we will say beta souja mat padh paeso ka jugaad kar warna corruption tujay nigal jayayga”. In Kashmir corruption cycle occurs, corrupt accuses the corrupt of being corrupt and then corrupt ones investigate the corrupt and declare the corrupt of being corrupt and then corruption starts again and the accused corrupt is set free and a new corruption surfaces and a new corrupt investigates it without a conclusion.

We hear scams but we don’t hear the conclusions, we see people telling that they are ashamed of seeing all this but we don’t see people ending it. Dealing with corruption and staying calm is a talent most of us here have mastered and learnt to live with. There will be scams, poor people with degrees but no jobs, rich ones with jobs in hand, politicians giving speeches, suicides, unemployment, dishonesty and murders and this is the last stage of this world for corruption is a disgrace and it kills humanity and it is killing. Here Justice is itself corrupted. It is a duty of us, we youths to deal with it or suffer with it. We have to challenge the corruption but the question still remains that “Who will bell the cat???”

TRAVELLING IN THE BUS

What is the first thing we think of travelling in bus??

For me life was a bliss and merriment was as usual as breathing, I used to board bus at the stop and deboard at the university.Good old days of ease and comfort. The almost two hours of my university bus travel along with my friends used to be one of the best moments ever. They say time never remains the same, least did i knew that fate will take an ugly~ turn and i would have to travel local buses.I now have the nightmares of boarding the local buses.
I remember the good old times when women were respected and when people used to spare a seat for them but now the men folk even the teenagers are least bothered of a woman standing in the bus may she be having loads, with children or even elderly.Recently i was in the bus and an elderly women boarded and i felt she needed a seat to ease her pain and fatigue she faced all along walking, there were guys and men who had theirs eyes sealed up and ears with headphones listening to the satanic verses of hip hops and jazz. They were as engrossed as they might have thoughts of their beautiful ladies and the ways of their shades and seesaw hair styles.I later could not resist her standing their waiting for an angelic man to come up and give her the most deserved thing : the seat.I stood up and made her to sit.She later showered me with her blessings and said " Girls have courtesy"! though i don't fully agree.Their are guys too but nowadays life here in Kashmir has taken an irritating turn.Gone are the days of the honesty, courtesy, modesty and faith, nowadays people are all engrossed with the worldly things of money, ease, corruption, fashion and immodesty.People gaze girls travelling in bus, tease and even pass comments.
What is kashmir turning into...Wah Wah state of India.Where people though claim they are muslims but dont even follow a single principle of it.
Their is no wonder when 21st century Kashmir will have "50% off on honestly, 20 % discount in faith".
Here no matter what, people don't think of death even for a second but only think of "SHOW OFF".
Even while travelling in bus, conductors charge extra and sometimes don't even return the said amount.Sometimes i feel its like animals are put in buses to get slaughtered.Even a single nudge
from a person takes the breath away.Half of the hell is faced while travelling a bus.Sometimes the conductor argues and sometimes a bad person gets abused. The only person who enjoys the ride is the driver, the rest are victims of the fate. The worst thing happens when the brakes gets applied and all of of sudden your life gets bolted and you are shattered from your safe spot to an unknown spot of being laughed and scrutinized. The torture doesnt end, if you are wearing a weak chapel or not clipped your dress properly then the travel turns out the worst decision.
I want sometimes that some safety tools and kits be provided to the persons travelling in bus, for its not bus its hell. The bus travel here in Kashmir is having an extra facility, the frequent stopping and less travelling.I feel like bus stops more than it travels,it takes my patience so much that all i want is to beat up the driver to pulp. Why do they stop for more than required at one stop. The one hour travel takes 3 hours and still the torture goes on, you board the bus and all your clothes and yourself gets churned up, you are nudged by women to make a side for them, beaten up to corner at the 1 cm space so that extra 500 can make space in the mini bus and then no one helps you out find a seat, you are extra charged, and tortured with the extra time taken in the travel.

AND THE TORTURE GOES ON AND ON....

A RECAP OF OUR FREEDOM STRUGGLE

54th DAY I REMEMBER

I have not seen such a spirit and aspiration of the people as such in my lifetime and this kinda impact with world wide condemnation yet another perspective in the ongoing struggle here. The government has failed to workout to the needs of the common people...I have been wondering what is it doing now after it held all kind of cabinet meetings. I think the opposition speaks sense particularly the CPI (communists), but that maybe also because to gain the peoples support. The PDP too failed to represent the opposition may it be in our cabinet or may it be in Lok sabha. With this political scenario i can only say that the governing rule is all worried about the power and the opposition is all crying the crocodile tears.40 deaths so far with mostly people of teenage groups and even the children of age group in 10..what is left out now?? I wonder don’t these security personal have their own children or is it they are childless widows???
The incoming of RAF(Rapid Action Forces),the political package improvement, the unemployment eradication and the curfew to be strictly followed!!! Is this the solution that Mr CM brought about?? If they are the real governing dominions of the disputed territory then how come the NC patron Mr.Farooq Abdullah say "Kashmir ko goli maro". His recent speech in the NDTV BUCKS STOPS HERE...he neither spoke of the martyred nor of the families their, he just was concerned about the education. I just wanna ask him "Where is the education of his hypocritical pledge he took when he got his doctor ship that come what may, peoples live is a priority"? Hasn’t he pledged that whole heartedly? Let’s speaks sense at least rather than speaking non sense. We the youth aren’t concerned about our education, as much we want a dominion where our views and aspirations work out as such....FREEDOM IS WHAT WE WANT...its not a tyrannical government that will fulfil our education.Seema Mustafa, a human right activist rightly condemned the government and the CMs inability to come out to the people the reason of the tense situation here. Why the CM didn’t visit the hospitals? Why didn’t he utter even a single word of sympathy to the families who lost their dear ones....?Let me make my view clear. I really don’t know what freedom actually means...but i just know that it’s the eradication of this tyranny prevailing here in Kashmir right now. And let the Kashmir be given its Autonomy as such..Ameen

GREATER RISKS OF LIFE

The age of twenties and ahead does gives a new perspective of life. From being a dependent child we turn to an independent person.
We start leaving colleges...Check
We start looking for jobs.....Check
We start finding partners...Check
We become emotional....Check
We turn our decisions more than our Parents...Check
We see the best and the worst...Check
We get depressed....Check
In this life we fall in many pits and trapes,we indulge in late night movies, novels, chatting, gossips and being eager to earn money.
The first trap we see is

1. We start being emotionally dependent:

The first trap in which we post teenagers fall is that we start looking for our happiness in being in relationship or being with a person who we start to adore. We are happy when we talk with them,we feel proud when we get the concern from them,we get praised and the world seems bright. This starts the process of being trapped, unknowingly we get in these things slowly and it weakens us.Soon the concept of their being away comes to our mind and we get paranoid.Sometimes it may turn even more worse if the person becomes deceptive. It can thus hamper the time as well the modesty we care about.

The DO's :

We people should never give any person the authority to rule, everyone is a friend and everyone is same.Parents are our resources and we must be nearer to them than any stranger.

The second trap we see is

2.We have the urge to make money and the urge to compete and leave behind our friends:

It is the next mistake we people make in this age,we want to see financial stability and thus we have the urge to make money. It turns to be good but sometimes being so much in the money business sometimes takes away the resources and then we lose the time we must have used to gain higher and better.

The DO's:

We must not be jealous of anyone.Just because people are progressing and you are not doesn't mean your time wont come. One must better use the time and resources in the good job and good prospectus and thus wait for the correct time.

The third trap we see is

3.Being unconcerned of parents:

In this age we feel we are free birds and  that we could do anything. We don't fear parents and their concern least comes. We forget the care and thus start to take them for granted.

The Do's:

We must not forget the time, money and the work they did for us in our upbringing. They brought us in this world, they gave us what we needed, they showed us the way.We must respect and care for them even when our dependency on them decreases.

The fourth trap is

4.Being nonreligious

This is main bad habit we get in this age.We see religion as an act which we could do in the later stage of life.We forget death and think life is eternal. We don't want to see what after death we will feel...

The Do's:

We must not forget our origin and our end.Every soul will have to face the death (Al-Quran).We must be religiously good so that our life in here and in hereafter is blessed...

MY FIRST WRITE UP : NEED DIGNITY

I have no political basis or acknowledgment as such but I can’t stay as a meek spectator seeing Kashmir turning worse than a hell.18 years of military control does mean something. Thousands killed, Infact brutally murdered, thousands disappeared, tortured, injured and then what else remains to be done. A bullet in the chest is better than surrender to these humiliations. The thing is Indian government is trying to silence our woes and cries! Where is the government that the people have voted for? Did they vote for food, water and the rest or they voted to count dead bodies on the roadside. We should salute them how they mustered their courage to come out of the streets and cry for the freedom. Not surprisingly Kashmir is all a playground now, a theatre of bunkers, barricades, check points and army camps and there are just bullets around. They called the British Empire as tyrannical but how tyrannous is it to deploy one lakh soldiers in the whole India six lac armed men in uniform Kashmir alone. Their mathematics isn’t that weak even. I don’t infact really know what Freedom means. But I want to see a Kashmir where there are no unprovoked killings, where people live with honor and dignity, where life has a value. I was just a child when Kashmir came up with the upsurge of militancy. 20 years have passed since but we still cry for freedom. Where is freedom???

THE ODDS OF A KASHMIRI

Why is it funny to live in Kashmir. Every morning I wake up, I think of my life and how I am still lazy and still a winner in all ...
